I had a special request for one of my medical id keychains with “Legally Blind” on it. I’ve added it to my gallery and it is now available for purchase on the keychain and on a card in my medical id profile card line.

I’ve added two new conditions to my Medical Alert product line. There is now a keychain and ID card for “latex allergy” and “aspirin allergy”. A big thank you to Zazzle contributor jmpence for the suggestions! Please take a moment to visit jmpence’s photography gallery, Psyche, Lost and Wandering.

The ID cards are similar, but in business card format. One side can be customized to add other information.

In a comment on my gallery, Zazzle contributor Scribbleprints noticed my Medical Alert ID cards and suggested that I should maybe do keychains as well. Great idea, Scribbleprints! I took the suggestion, and came up with Medical ID Keychains to match the cards.

I was inspired by a post in the promotions forum at Zazzle, looking for links to creative ways to use the business/profile cards, to do something a little different from my normal design. Being a diabetic myself, I thought it might be nice to have cards that I could carry around in my purse with my medical condition, medications, emergency contact,  and doctor’s name. They could be used for my own reference for remembering medication dosages at doctor appointments, or used by emergency personnel in an emergency. There are cards for only 12 different medical conditions at the moment, but I will be adding more as time goes on. Right now, there are cards for diabetes, memory impairment (Alzheimer’s & dementia), food allergies, heart conditions, and more! If you would like to see a particular one in my gallery, please let me know, so that I can consider it for inclusion.
